This is a hands-on role where you’ll work on industrial insulation projects, applying high-performance materials to pipework and equipment to improve energy efficiency and system durability.

About The Role
As a Site Thermal Insulator, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining high-quality insulation systems across various industrial sites. Your role will involve working with materials such as polyurethane foam and metal cladding to ensure efficient thermal protection for pipework, vessels, and other infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Install insulation on pipework, vessels, and equipment according to specifications and industry standards.
Fit and secure aluminium, stainless steel, and other cladding materials to protect insulated surfaces.
Work closely with the team leader to prepare materials, tools, and work areas.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Contribute to a positive working environment by being a team player and taking pride in your work.
Requirements:
Valid SAFEPASS Card
Clean Full Driving License
IPAF/PASMA/Forklift License (beneficial but not essential)
Experience in industrial insulation or cladding
Must be willing to travel and work away from home as required

A Week in the Life of a Site Insulator
Monday – Preparing for the Week Ahead
Start the week at our workshop, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are ready.
Travel to the site with the team, with accommodation provided for projects further afield.
Site setup, briefing, and planning to ensure a smooth workflow.
Tuesday – Thursday: Installation & Fabrication
Daily briefings before beginning insulation and cladding work.
Hands-on tasks, including preparing pipework, securing and fitting cladding.
Foam injection and sealing work for high-performance insulation.
Team collaboration and problem-solving to ensure efficiency and quality.
End-of-day clean ups to maintain a safe work environment.
Friday – Final Checks & Wrap-Up
Completing final insulation tasks, reviewing work for quality assurance.
Site clean up and preparation for the next phase of work.
Supervisor reporting and travel back home for the weekend.
Flexibility & Weekend Work
Some projects may require weekend work due to site schedules. In such cases, advance notice will be given, and appropriate arrangements will be made.
